We work with lenders that assess, approve and settle online, including Macquarie Bank, ING and Ubank. That is how a switch moves quickly, and why their rates are sharper: no branches to pay for.

Questions, answered.
How do I switch my home loan to a lower rate?
Download Swtchd, connect your current loan through Open Banking and pick a lower rate from our digital lenders. Your Van Berkel & Wood broker prepares the application, you sign, and the new lender pays out your old loan at settlement. You follow every step from your phone.
How long does it take to switch banks?
Timing depends on the new lender's approval and on your current bank releasing the loan. Digital lenders assess and settle online, which removes most of the waiting. The app shows exactly where your switch is up to.
Does switching cost anything?
Swtchd is free to use. Your current lender may charge a discharge fee and the new lender may have set-up costs. You see every fee, and how long the saving takes to cover it, before you commit.
How does Swtchd get paid?
The lender you switch to pays a commission when your loan settles. The amount is disclosed before you sign.
Which lenders does Swtchd use?
Our brokers work with Macquarie Bank, ING and Ubank alongside the major banks and specialist lenders, including NAB, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ and Bankwest. Swtchd matches you with the lenders that assess and settle online.
Is my banking data safe?
Swtchd connects through Open Banking, Australia's Consumer Data Right. Access is read-only, we never see your banking password, and you choose how long access lasts: a once-off check, or monthly rate checks for 12 months.
